Z is for Zoo

The Memphis Zoo.  We love that place.  It is a mere 2.4 miles from my house, and thanks to a membership my brother gave us, we visit there almost every week.  It's awesome.  It was even chosen as #4 on USA Today's list of "Top 10 Zoos" in the country for 2014. 

I'm pretty sure that baby monkey is like, "Heyyyy, what kind'a snacks you got in that cup, kid?"

I used one of my pictures to make the painting.  I almost always paint from pictures I've taken.  It works best for me because I can't remember all the details of a place in my head, and I sure as heck don't have time to plop down in a parking lot and whip out all my painting supplies. 

Also, I like air conditioning.      

Looking over my list, I'm going to need to make a few more excursions to finish my alphabet series.  Adventures await!
