I was talking to my kids the other day about Thanksgiving, things I'm thankful for, and how to just be grateful in general. Sawyer's just a year old so I didn't expect him to really get it, but I was a little surprised that Seth didn't just start rattling off a list of things he's thankful for. I should have known better though. About an hour later my little deep thinker came up to me and said he wanted to tell me something. In his most genuine voice, he carefully told me all about how thankful he was for his Mr. Potato Head. And now we know! I'm thankful for a great, great many things. Just to name one right now, I'll say: my parents. I'm so thankful they live close by, thankful they're healthy, thankful for how they raised me, and thankful that they are able to and eager to help me with my kids. Blessings among blessings!
