I have this thing about taking Halloween pictures. I don't do first day of pre-school pics or annual Christmas ones, but come October you will most certainly find me busting out the 'real' camera and fussing over my mums and pumpkins and telling my kids to say "cheeeeeese." The annual Halloween picture is a little tradition I've come to love, and this year in particular- with our recent move from Memphis to Raleigh and all the changes- it was really comforting to perform this homey, familiar ritual.
Speaking of the move, I had a quite a few paintings surface in all the sorting and packing and the going-through-the-stuff. In fact, once I had corralled everything together I realized that "quite a few" turned out to be like, oh I don't know, a hundred? So I've added a new section to my Etsy shop where I'm listing original watercolor paintings for sale. Every art print, note card set, magnet, and bookmark I sell/have sold started with an original watercolor- just paintbrush to paper. In the past I haven't really made a habit of listing my original work online to sell, but clearly it's piling up on me! So check out this new section or original works in my shop if you're looking for something that's one of a kind! I'll be adding more and more in the coming weeks. And/or if you just want to see some pictures of cute kids and a dog in a pumpkin costume, by all means, scroll down :) Happy Halloween!
