This week has been busy. I filled 2 large wholesale orders and a custom order for a wedding, finished my Midtown painting (more on that later), and stocked up for the Cooper Young Festival next Saturday. Robert was a big help and my dear, sweet sister even came over not one, but two nights this week to help me out after she'd already put in a full day at work. Life saver, that girl. Rusty on the other hand, he mostly did this all week... We printed, folded, and packaged what seemed like thousands of note cards but I think it was really something like 600 or so. However many it was, it was A LOT. Plus there was the bookmarks, magnets, prints... lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! I'm just glad it's all finished because now I can go on my family's annual beach vacation with that all off my chest. Every year we go to Pensacola Beach. We looooooove Pensacola. I painted this Pensacola scene several years ago, post-vacation. I'll be returning from my vacay just in the nick of time next week for the Cooper Young Fest! It's Saturday, September 15th from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you live in the Memphis area come see me! I'll be on Cooper in space #A-159 near the Memphis Drum Shop and sort of across from the Celtic. Hopefully I'll be looking tan!
